Acoustical (STC rated) Doors (DE and DL Series)
Republic's acoustical/sound transmission control doors are tested in accordance with ASTM E90 & E413 and are available in STC ratings of 40, 42, 43, 47, 48, 50, and 52. Doors are available in cold rolled steel or galvanealed (A60) steel. Face sheets are continuously welded to hinge and lock channels. SDI Level 4 - Physical performance level A

Features
- DE414 series - 1 13/16" (46) full flush design, rated for light to maximum-duty use
- ME414 series frames – Welded or KD construction available – 5 ¾" minimum jamb depth
- Proprietary sound resistant core
- Hinge edge is non-beveled and reinforced with a full height 16 or 10 gauge steel channel projection welded at a maximum of 5" on center
- 16 gauge flush top and bottom channels projection welded to both skins on 2½" centers
- Doors are prepared for 4½" standard or heavy weight, full mortise template hinges
- Lock edge is non-beveled and reinforced with a continuous 16 or 14 gauge channel, mortised and cylindrical lock reinforcements are integral 16 or 14 gauge reinforcements
- 5-10 and equal hinge spacing standard
- Doors are thoroughly cleaned, phosphatized, and primed with a coat of force cured rust inhibiting primer that meets and/or exceeds the requirements of ANSI A250.10 (120 hour continuous salt spray test per ASTM B117 and 240 hour continuous humidity test per ASTM D4585)
- Doors are individually packaged and fully plastic wrapped to prevent damage
- Undercut is ¼" (verify floor conditions)
