ME Series Frames
ME Series - Universal Frames
Republic offers a complete line of flush frames that are available in 16, 14, and 12 gauge cold-rolled or A60 galvanealed steel. Frames can be knocked down or set up and welded at miters and ground smooth. Republic 12 gauge frames are butt end welded or bolted corner connection only.
All Republic frames are available for either 1-3/8" or 1-3/4" thick doors. Republic ME series universal steel frames are manufactured for all wall conditions such as masonry, steel stud, wood stud, and poured concrete.

Republic offers several different frame types. Each type has certain characteristics that fulfill either installation or esthetic requirements of an opening.
Certain types of frames have been developed to accommodate special hardware. Others have been developed through necessity, to satisfy Federal and local building and fire code requirements.
