Republic doors can be prepared for a wide variety of different hardware types and styles to support any type of architectural opening. Locks, hinges, flush bolts and most types of surface applied hardware are easily applied to Republic’s standard hollow metal doors.
Hinge Preparations
Republic’s DM and DL Series doors incorporate a continuous 16 gauge hinge channel reinforced with a 10 gauge thick plate which provides 3/16” of thread. DE series incorporate a continuous 10 gauge channel; hinge pockets are tabulated and tapped providing over 3/16” of thread.
